The creation of all artisanal oud oil begins with the harvesting of the raw material, ideally single origin, only the finest authentic grades of wood can make their way into a KYMYA oil.

With the wood processed, the pots are fired up, an old art refined by modern science and equipment - hydro-distillation is underway.
The key to an artisanal oil is the optimisation of distillation parameters and overall technique.

Once the oil is delicately collected and "cured", the final steps are taken to age in the most optimum environment.
The ageing process varies by oil, and can take anywhere from a few months to a a few years - with some oils even waiting decades.
