Nawadir Al Arab Collection
Maroke is the most famous oud region for vintage Indonesian oud oil, and perhaps for vintage oud in general, several legendary artisanal oils hail from here, whether it be the SQ collection or others.
Distilled in the late 1990s, from some of the finest material available then, this oil has been aged to perfection, even eclipsing our Encens Merauke - the aroma in this oil is simply heavenly.

the profile
Maroke opens with a petrichor & vetiver like aura, the familiar dew and almost ethereal experience when walking through a wet woodland or jungle. Thereafter, comes the menthol & spearmint, embedded in a rich molasses like sweetness.
The base strikingly strides in, composed of an extremely rich & leather like oud. Radiating elegance & an aura that truly represents the mind numbing and and zen like a of one of nature's finest aromatics that we affectionately know to be oud.

the story behind the collection
nawadir al arab
Nawadir Al Arab [The Rarities of Arabs] was named for the heritage this collection hails from, a collection of fragrant jewels unearthed from a vault of one of the greatest collectors of agarwood there ever was.
Each oil has been aged for over ten years, perhaps never conceived for public release, by fate we were fortunate to be invited to take from this collection what we could - how we wish we could return for more.

securing oud for the future
lab grade vials
Storing your oud oil correctly is the final step in the journey of an ultra high grade oil.
We make that easy with our selection of laboratory vials from J.G,. Finneran & DWK Wheaton (Next Gen V-Vials), manufactured in the USA and perfect for long term storage and aging.
Alternatively, for the daily users, preferring the traditional quarter tola bottles, our glass bottles utilise glass dipsticks, making application easy, and keeping your oil safe from any plastic.
