Abundant as Thai oud may be, only the veteran collectors will remember its wild variant, which eclipses the modern day produce by every stretch. 

The wild woods and oils of this legendary region are on a different paradigm altogether, only few are lucky enough to have experienced the magic of vintage Thai oud, with even fewer having the opportunity to own some of this precious oud in their collection.

Ayutthaya was an ancient Thai kingdom, centred around the historical city of Ayutthaya, revered by Europeans as one of the three great Asian powers. The city itself became an extremely prominent port of trade along the Gulf of Siam, particularly so given the bloom in East/West trade in the expansionist era.

Aged for around 9 years, this is the closest we’ve come to a vintage truly wild Thai oil in several years, hailing from the Southern part of Thailand, an even less common region. Complete with a mesmerising and awe-inspiring aroma, this is the realisation of a collectors dream, the holy grail that is Wild Thai oud.
