Leyte is the grail region for the Philippines, and for most the only one worth collecting from this rediscovered part of the oud world.
For most however, finding the original sweet Cambodi-esque profiles in batches of wood is a task nearly impossible, even with wads of cash.
With a region so precious it is no surprise hardly anyone is distilling oil from it, when so much could be fetched for it as daily burning and collecting wood in the Gulf.
