Last year we released a private batch of a unique Leyte oil, mimicking the sweet Cambodia infused aroma of the peak batches of Leyte oud from 2016-2020. To no surprise it sold out privately to no more than 3 collectors, fortunately for the community, we had another batch cooking in the distillation pots.
Uniquely obsessed over by every culture, Leyte has become synonymous with ultra high grade oud, becoming the Nha Trang of the Philippines. For many years, there was no bad batch of Leyte, it was all jaw dropping, eye watering & a joyous delight to even look at, let alone heat or burn.
Today as stocks dwindle, other regions and jungles from the Philippines dominate, with inferior aroma and aesthetics to the peak of the Leyte era, it has become incumbent for every collector across the globe to cherish what they have - for the golden era is not returning.

Leyte has a uniqueness, a sweet chocolatey and famed "Cambodi" like aroma, a feat present in the lower grade batches of wood right up to the dark resin dripping batches. Today, Leyte is several fold what it was a few years ago, with the best woods becoming astonishingly rare and fetching exuberant sums at auction. The search for high grade material goes on, with such high demand & so little to go around, it isn't any surprise that hardly any one has attempted to craft an oil from this region's precious aromatic wood.
