Sultani Agarwood Bundle
pure oud oil (attar)
The pinnacle of agarwood in recent years has no doubt been the treasures uncovered in Oman, with so many original gifts from the palace finally coming to light, courtesy of many long time collectors - many of whom who had no idea of the value of what they held.
In the last couple of years, as stocks dwindled and prices sky rocketed, most of those holding such gifts have decided to hold on to their precious woods and oils, parting way only in significant times of need and that too for market value - several times what they asked in 2020.
High grade vintage oud is what we seek 24/7, with constant conversation across the world from the GCC to the Far East, even in areas where one might least expect oud, and at times even HNWI individuals that one would never expect to be selling off their oud.
A recent haul from Oman has blessed us with 897g of prestigious vintage oud, a mostly Hindi mixed batch, teeming with resin under every scrape.
As is consistent with vintage batches, the exact origin is often shrouded in mystery, requiring collectors to contact head offices as in the case of the HJ and Amouage pieces, yet with agarwood this isn't possible.
With agarwood it takes experienced noses together to form an opinion on the provenance of each piece, as such we've determined this batch to be majority Hindi, with the odd Burmi and Cambodian piece in the mix.
Pictures and videos cannot do agarwood justice, rather it must be held in hand, studied and carefully scraped and heated to enjoy and revel in its magical aroma.
This very batch offers a unique and rare glimpse for the daring collectors, into the past of agarwood, at a level entirely unattainable today in such chunks and for just under $50/g!

The Sultan Qaboos related oud collections far eclipse any other collections associated with one particular individual. The ones lucky enough to be gifted these products throughout their lifetimes, have become some of the greatest oud collectors without even knowing it.
Some of the more "standard" ouds in their collections are what other collectors spend decades of blood, sweat and tears on curating from the vast range of stuff out there.
Our unique place in the oud world gives us unprecedented access to SQ related oud products from a variety of different sources - we've had a front seat for this phenomenon right since the beginning,
