For many years now Taiwanese oil has been all the hype, and recently the prices have been truly melodramatic. But what if we told you that Taiwanese oud oils can be affordable and still pack the magnificent aromas of the legendary kinam like oils?

Huang Shang is a recent distillation of Merauke, in the skunk works of Singapore. Crafted from vintage merauke wood in the vaults of Tapei, it is unparalleled and the dream of collectors like myself. Imagine going back in a Time Machine to the 80s and 90s, taking the phenomenal agarwood of the time and distilling oils carte blanche - the resort of only the ultra wealthy today. 

But with Huang Shang, we've accomplished just that, and you don't need to be a billionaire to experience this phenomenal work of art.

This oil opens with a bright & green aura, a freshness, reminding you of summer. Packed with citrus like notes, the oil radiates joy & calm. Developing into a sweet, petrichor middle, this is where the incense comes through unveiling the quality of the wood from which it was crafted. In just a few months it has matured incredibly, giving us a glimpse of its final form.

A yield of less than 1% was achieved giving us just 40g of this amazing oil. 30 grams remain for the lucky few.
