The thread running through it is Al Hind, our co-distillation of Hindi, Filipino and Silani wood. Co-distillation is not blending, the raw woods go into the copper together and fuse from the very beginning, and two of those three origins are sitting in this box as wood in their own right. So you can burn them, get to know them properly, and then meet them again in the oil having become something none of them would have managed alone.
Hindi Premium Oud Wood, 25g
The most abundant and consistent wood today is no doubt that of India, and from the plantations of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland comes the best of it. Free from chemicals, cultivated in a manner similar to the wild, on trees that are decades old and often kept within the same family across generations. These beautiful dark resin dense chunks provide the most mesmerising burn session, filling the room with a dense smoky yet creamy and fruity Hindi aroma, and they remain the perfect entry point for any newcomer as well as a daily companion for the seasoned collector.
Leyte Dugga Sinking, 25g
A pre-2020 batch carrying a profile that has become increasingly difficult to find among Filipino today, cool, minty and green, with the sort of freshness that only vintage Leyte material will give you. It sits nowhere near the warmth of Hindi or the sweetness of Cambodi, it occupies its own space entirely, and with the quality of Filipino agarwood being nothing like it was even five years ago, batches of this age are becoming something collectors hold onto rather than burn through.
Al Hind Oud Oil, 2.5g
Hindi brings the bold unmistakable warmth that has made Indian oud the cornerstone of Arabian perfumery, Filipino lends the resinous sweetness of that prized Leyte character, and Silani grounds the whole thing with its earthy meditative quality, the one origin here you will only ever meet in the oil. It shifts and evolves on the skin and reveals new dimensions with each wearing, and it is not an oil you will have figured out on the first application, it rewards patience and repeated visits the way the finest oud always has.
Our advice is to burn the Hindi one evening and the Leyte the next rather than both together, so each has the room to register properly, and to leave the oil until you know both woods well.
