The Six Origins
60g Agarwood · 2.5g Ayutthaya Oud Oil
Six regions. Six expressions of oud.
Only 10 available
This is not a sampler — it is a curriculum. Each 10-gram packet contains enough material for multiple burning sessions, enough to truly understand what distinguishes one terroir from another. Together, they span the full vocabulary of oud: from the sweet refinement of Vietnamese to the creamy depth of Indian, from the mysterious rarity of Bhutanese to the creamy richness of Filipino.
Contents
Nha Trang, Vietnam
The origin that gave Vietnamese oud its name. Sweet, fruited, refined — with a cooling elegance that distinguishes it from heavier woods. Clean, meditative, effortless.
Mindanao, Phillipines
Vintage Filipino oud from the southern Philippines. Creamy, aquatic, with notes of vanilla, chocolate, and an almost mentholated freshness.
Khao Yai, Thailand
The most premium organic wood from the Khao Yai region. Opens with intense green forest notes and spice, grounding into a deep, resinous base. Thick pieces, exceptional even by organic standards.
Surat, Thailand
From Surat Thani, a batch of pristine wild Thai oud. Sharp spice, cardamom, and cinnamon on opening, settling into vanilla and incense. The full range of Thai terroir in one wood.
Bhutan
The rarest region. Some veterans question whether Bhutanese oud even exists — this is proof that it does. Radiant, powerful, shrouded in mystery. When burned, it eclipses anything found in the Gulf today.
Hindi, India (Manipur/Nagaland)
The holy grail. The origin the Gulf royals sought above all others. Wild, vintage, dense with resin. Hindi oud produces a sense of joy and euphoria like no other wood on earth.
The Oil:
Ayutthaya, 2016
Aged for around 9 years, this is the closest we’ve come to a vintage truly wild Thai oil in several years, hailing from the Southern part of Thailand, an even less common region. Complete with a mesmerising and awe-inspiring aroma, this is the realisation of a collectors dream, the holy grail that is Wild Thai oud.
